The challenge
Urban Boutique had a loyal local customer base and strong product photography, but an outdated website that made shopping frustrating — slow loading, poor mobile experience, and a checkout flow with too many steps and too little trust.
Their conversion rate was under 1%. They knew they were losing sales, but didn't know how to fix it.
Our approach
We started with a thorough review of the existing checkout analytics to identify where customers were dropping off. The biggest issue was checkout friction — too many form fields, no guest checkout, and a confusing payment step.
We rebuilt from scratch: mobile-first design, Stripe for payments, and a checkout process reduced to three clean steps. We also reworked product pages to better showcase the clothing with high-quality image galleries and clear size guides.
